Building Tomorrow's Leaders
The MacArthur High School Band Program is raising money to help continue the rich history of excellence in this season’s show “Digital Frontier”.
The Douglas MacArthur High School band prides itself on over 70 years of tradition and great musical success. Standing as the first school of the North East Independent School District, the two times back-to-back Marching Band State Champion continues to provide great pride to its community.
The “Mac Band” is a very active organization. It competes in several marching circuits in around the State, the Wind Ensemble is a National Commended winner of the Mark of Excellence Music Award, and our many competitive ensembles within the organization, such as color guard, consistently earn high marks at contests.
